cover page shot #3

I followed my flat plan sketches when taking my photos and then expanded on them;

 I used the surroundings enabling a casual leaning pose
and here I experimented with lighting and used a prop; headphones which are relevant to my music magazine.

cover page shot #2

I followed my flat plan sketches less taking these photos although simple the images were awkward so it was easier for my model to sit and also adjusting the angles but I didn't develop these shots further.

cover page shot #1

This shot was easiest to devise from what I had imagined only changing facial expressions, but it was because of the simplicity of the image which made me reconsider if it was a suitable cover photo and if it connoted a music magazine.

double page spread shot #4

I had intended this shot to come over playful but whist preparing the shot I noticed how awkward and childish the position was and found the new pose much more natural and  professional whilst being fun keeping my initial idea.

double page spread shot #3

The idea I had for this shot portraying deep emotion worked well but I now see this does not fit the conventions of an upbeat POP magazine.

double page spread shot #2

I really wanted to stick to my flat plan images for this shot so I only adjusted the positioning of my models hands and head.

double page spread shot #1

I found this shot extremely difficult to portray in real life making me unsure if I still wanted to use it.
